okay so this weekend didnt go as planned. we ended up sleepin in till noon, and by that time i didnt want to work on the car cuz i had to work at 2. so its been pushed back a lil. i have on the other hand started with the fixing the fender. its been sanded down and primered. im waiting fot the 2nd coat of primer to dry so i can add the first layer of paint to the fender.
here are the pics of the fender before primer....
and after primer and lil bondo work.....

well here we go, or should i say here she goes. my GF did her first tune up this mornin. all in all it went pretty well she did the following.....
engine flush
oil change
new spark plugs
fuel filter
tranny flush
and we also put on the vx rims
well here are the pics......
off hand does anyone know what color this is? the door jamb says r64 (rio red) but the color under the molding was the rio red and the paint didnt match up when i painted the fender.

well you have to keep in mind this car is very old and has been thru alot of sun, also a possible respray so the color is barley going to match what it originally looked like. your just going to have to hunt for a shade of red that closley resembles the color you have now, not the color it used to be. and remember, when purchasing a paint color, spray it on a surface area and let it dry. it may change color after its dry.

Re: Re: (CBURKE)
I think I only notice things like that because I'm old. I once had my old 99 teg fall off a jack. Luckily I wasn't under it, and all it did was broke the bottom end tank of the radiator to pieces. If I had been under it, I'd have a crushed something and it wouldn't be pretty.
crx_si-r's girlfriend: make sure you use jack stands next time. nobody wants to hear about you getting crushed under a CRX. Especially an automatic CRX (just kidding)
