need leads on a replacement D16 for 1990 EF
I recently bought a good condition 90 EF hatchback for my son, and the motor is gone. I'm looking for replacement D16 ZC sohc, does anyone know where I can source one?
It seems the old engine overheated, and the owner dissassembled the motor but left it all out in the open where it's all rusted away now.
If anyone has leads I'd surely appreciated. I live in the Orlando Florida area and will pay shipping, we'd like to get this gem on the road within a month or two.
thanks guys.
Funny, I used to be on here in the 90's under a different screenname but forgot my password.
Thanks

I know https://www.hmotorsonline.com/d-series/ still has them. I know machine shops usually have a contact for engines as well.

Ok.. most people ditch the D-series for swapping in to JDM or sticking to USDM inside of D-series. Hmotors is sick because they offer alot of special MUGEN.
I'f you are looking for leads.. I'd always check local tuners willing to get rid of long block.
If you can.. the up's are VTEC heads.. and some rare transmissions.
N/A../NOS/forced induction.. :D:D:D:D:D
