Well as has been posted in the Tech or hybrid forums, Cam gears do very little to increase power on a ZC, and then you have to spend megabucks on a dyno to adjust them for results, unless you have a best buddy with one who will do it for free its best to not bother with that for 2 or 3 hp. And there are a couple places who sell cams, but none but Crane come immediately to mind. And just because Atlanta doesn't have any ZCs there Is NoyanUSA.com in VA, there is StreetImports.com and a few places in NYC and canada just to name a few. there are places in SC but don't remember the name. Figure out all the little things you will need to do it right and you will find that ZC is not really that much more, puts out more power and needs nothing more than a new timing belt and tunup to put on the road safely and you will be pushing much more power than the Si ever did NA and it responds to turbo even better. Don't lose sight of the big picture by focusing on a few little things. The little things add up real fast to be quite expensive. And if you broke belt you most likely bent valves. and thaose add up too.

I've already decided on a D16A6 build up.
I got a full swap for only $100.00 - closest ZC quote I got was $800.00.

Don't forget to do the timing belt thing and water pupm and idler. Would suck to break a belt and go through this all over again for the sake of a $28 belt from a honda dealer. and that applies no matter what engine you stuff in you car.

Got you on that one.
All Honda O.E parts new:
Timing belt
Water pump
Thermostat
(Already got new alternator and belt)
1996 DX head gasket
1988 Integra rings
Rod bearings
Main bearings
Intake and exhaust man gaskets
Valvestem seals
Valvecover gasket
Plugs
Plug seals
V.C grommets
Rotor button
Cap
Wires
And more crap that i'm forgetting for the motor.
For the tranny it's getting the 5 main bearings, mainshaft seal, and shifter shaft seal. If it needs more than one synchro then I'll pull a different tranny and make a good one.
I've already taken before pics and the head is cleaning in the wash cxabinet here at work as I type.

Clean and sharp. Good Job.

Well I said that as an absolute minimum. So many people said their motors had new belts because the "looked" new. Not knowing how many miles or years old they are. But you are correct, to do it right you add all the other stuff you said.
