Mishimoto Radiator 91 honda crx
I have come to the conclusion that it is time for a new radiator after one of several patches on my current OEM radiator. I am looking at a mishimoto radiator, my question lies in the hoses. Should I purchase new hoses even though the OEM's have no issues?

Are your hoses old? It would be easier since you are already draining the coolant instead of having to do it down the road in a few months.

if u want color i would get new silicone hoses, otherwise keep the 1s u got if they dont leak. as for the rad, oem.. aftermarket.. really doesnt make too much of a difference. if u are downgrading from a full size to half size, then quality will matter, but having a full size rad is overkill for such small engines so a 50$ replacement from advanced auto will do

i like skunk2 but mishimoto sells half rads also im pretty sure. and if ur hoses look dry rotted/cracked/faded etc, then its prob worth 30$ to just get replacements at advanced auto etc. if u want color in ur engine bay then expect to pay 100-300 for silicone hose kits

hoses are cheap man! that whole set was $60 shipped from ebay, hard to beat considering it included all hoses

So i didn't need larger hoses I just needed a little elbow grease or rather some actual motor grease. I do need to purchase an aftermarket fan because the OEM fan is being held on by a hangar and some zip ties...
