I know there faqs about this but not too sure.

-Do i need obd1 to do the d16z6 head swap?
-Do i need mpfi?


If so what do i need to complete my swap like what ecu should i run? p28?. Mine is just bone stock dpfi,d15b2.

Yes z6 are obd1 your going to need a p28 and a Jumper
Jumper/P28 combo pack -

first your going to have to do a mpfi conversion. heres a diagram

things you will need:
obd0 dizzy si or ex 88-91
obd0 ecu pm6 88-91
dizzy plugs from engine harness off 88-91 civic/crx si or ex or 90-91 integra will work

i would get it working obd0 first and make sure you dont have any cel codes.

so if i wanna do the mini me swap i need to convert to obd1 and to mpfi?

so all i need is

things for the z6:
D16Z6 Cylinder Head (Including distributor cap, valve cover, plugs/wires, VTEC solenoid, etc)
D16Z6 or D16Y8 Head Gasket
P28 ECU
D16Z6 Timing Belt

things for the mpfi
mpfi intake
mpfi distributor
and a mpfi ecu
88-91 civic engine harness swap

things for the obd1
not sure what i need**
