lowering springs????

lowering springs????
does anyone know if h&r springs from a 99 civic will lower my 89 crx??? will they fit and will they lower it at least 1.75 inches to 2.5 inches???

Are they OE, Sport, or Race springs? Either way, the spring rate will be stiffer.

i dont know if they will fit on the spring perches perfectly..my 95's would fit nice on my 88 so i ditched them..ur front may be a lil higher since the struts and springs are lil taller on the newer civics

essentially they will fit, why do you think they have 88-00 coilovers and etc.
The thing is the lowering will be different because the weight of the car is different.

this is true...if you sit on your car somewhere your car will lower more...which is the same thing as having a heavier car...if the springs were on a heavier car and you put them on an ef then the car will sit higher because the ef is so light
