Just curious. Can't explain it.
My ZC powered CRX (daily driver) has got me baffled. After getting a code 7, I fixed the connector on the TPS (it had fallen off), checked calibration, and all was well. The Code 7 disappeared after cycling the hazard fuse. My quesion is this. The plug was totally disconnected from the TPS. The ECU had no throttle position input, yet it still drove "normal".. Didn't detect any "limp" mode at all. How?

Not sure, my guess is that the ECU can still handle fueling via the MAP signal. Does it still run normally if you pull the TPS again?
Maybe the ECU has a failure mode that only uses the MAP for fuel table lookup?
I wonder if there is a deep-dive out there on how the OBD0 ECUs handle fueling, timing, etc.
