Re: Jdm CRX crossmember
Depends..
A ee8 or ee9 has a different front crossmember than a ed9 or ed7.
I'm guessing this is true for a real ef8 or ef9 also (not talking about swapped/converted ed's). So if the car came stock with a B16a(1) it should have a different crossmember.

From what I hear, on the JDM/Euro EF's...
Purchase a traction bar system like ours, that attatches to the tow hooks and the first bolt underneath. Others will use the hole further down from below which is not the same on the JDM/Euro EF chassis. We have sold quite a few over seas, no issues. -John ESP

Re: Jdm CRX crossmember
the jdm ef9 civic sir w/b16 crossmember is different than the usdm civics by alot
the bolt pattern is completely different under the "frame rails" the thickness of the frame rails are thicker on the ef9 vs the usdm and the actual width of the crossmembver is different. i made a traction bar setup for my ef9 pm me if interested

Read the last page of this thread. Someone driving a ee8 asks basically the same question. There they say to use a DA Integra bar. ANd this has been told to me on a Dutch forum too. Just don't get a normal one that is advertised for a "ef" because they will not fit a real ef8/9 or ee8/9. Can't tell about that esp item. But I would not dare to try it out to be honest.
Hopes that answers your questions.

Re: Jdm CRX crossmember
Sorry to bring this back up, but are there any other options available now?
Look like the v3 ETD EF traction bar also bolts to the first crossmember bolt:
http://www.etdracing.com/store/produ...products_id=67
So, can these be used on JDM EF8/EDM EE8 crx?
Or do we still need the 90-93 integra model?
