Installing rear wiper
I have a 1988 honda Crx dx it has no rear windshield wiper even though I have the switch to turn it on. And there is no hole where it should be. Is there any way I can just get one and install it? And why doesn't mine have one

Re: Installing rear wiper
Yup you can add one..
Rear wipers were most likely a factory option and who ever bought the car new didn't want one? I hate rear wipers and remove/disconnect them. But that's more to do with my OCD

Rear wiper was on the Si.
You'll have to replace the fluid reservoir, wiper control arm, run the fluid lines, power everything...
Oh and you'll need the hatch itself.
I looked into doing it to a base model hatchback. Didn't feel worth it. Just bought one with that feature instead.

Re: Installing rear wiper
i just recently owned both a 1989 dx and 1989 si, both had rear wipers. So lack of a rear wiper on the DX is a canada thing, which can be verified by canadian honda parts dealers

I remember coming across a car here with door mounted seatbelts and thinking they were so sweet... Suddenly the booze wore off and I snapped back to reality.
