I aint gonna dog ya like most so i'll make it short and simple.
The cable is connected from the back of your speedometer to your speed sensor on your transmission.
First locate speed sensor on top of transmission, pull up rubber boot on the cable, slide out the pin holding the cable to the speed sensor without losing it. Pull up on the speedo cable and walaa it is free. Now, go in your car, remove speedometer vinyl plastic dome cover, should be 4 screws, 2 in front on the bottom, and 2 on the back where you have to pop open some tabs to reveal the screws. Once vinyl plastic dome cover is remove you should see 4 more screws in the front holding down your speedometer assembly. Remove those, and pull the assembly forward revealing speedo cable connected on the back of the speedometer assembly, disconnect electrical plugs on the back for more freeplay. Remove speedo cable and slowly pull cable which ever way you want without messing stuff up, now reverse process to install the new speedo cable
