Default headlight warning beeper question

so today i did the beeper upgrade so i wont ever end up with a dead battery

it went in easy and works fine

but i did notice when i turn my headlights on and keys off my temperature

guage goes all the way up to the red?

then i turn off my headlights and it goes right back down

does/has any one had this issue??

any ideas why it does this?

thanks guys

Mine never did that.. Maybe your temp gauge is grounded to the headlights somewhere

yeah definitely a ground feedback issue....when you did your tuck did you break the paint wear the junction blocks are mounted ....i had a similar issue with mine after the car was painted.....took it down to bare metal where the junctions mount and added some extra grounds for good measure and no more problems
