Has anyone replaced their fender liner?
Somehow, while on the highway.. the harsh winds hitting my car at 120kph managed to rip off my entire fender liner on my passenger side, taking the mudflap with it, and damaging my passenger corner light in the process.....
I went to the junkyard today and grabbed a fender liner from a hatch, but the plastic clip-screws that hold them in the well all rounded out and I wasn't able to salvage those.. every hatch I tried, the crappy plastic screws would round out and become un-removable... so I have the mudflap, and the fender liner.. but no clips nor screws to put it on.... what can I do?
Can you buy these brand new from Honda? Anyone have any tips on how I can get this on before winter...
thanks..

Re: (godruler)
go to a local repair shop and ask if they will sell you a few. most shops have a box of nothing but different kinds of clips

I had the same thing happen to me.. While I was at the scrapper looking for a new fender liner, I just happened to walk in front of a pre-90's toyota camry with a front lip. Out of curiosity I checked to see if it could be modded to fit a crx and instead I ended up taking almost all the screws that hold the lip on because they are stainless. A dozen or so screws cost me $1.00.
Now I see them almost everytime I go to the scrapper..

Same thing happened to my integra. While on the highway it flew off at 80MPH. When it came off it actually came with such speed that it hig the fender support bracket and pulled in the fender about 3". As was said before you can pay the premium price of using OEM honda scews or you can buy a box of them fro autozone for a few $.

Nice.. While I was at the scrapper me and my friend grabbed a 90-91 DA front lip and a EF SI lip, for both lips we had the hardest time as all the bolts were rusted to sh*t and the clips just broke off... Damn those Toyotas!

I guess this fender liner ripping off while on the highway is a common occurrence? I'm thinking of buying some non-plastic ones so they won't rip off so easily..
