Got hit...again...oh yeah...how does insurance claims work?
Well I went to SECO Performance center to get a MSD Cap and Coil. I was pulling out and getting into the lane and began to accel. Well a girl came over and ripped my corner lens off, bent my fender in, ripped my front bumper/filler piece loose, bent my bumper/fender mount, and scratched up my 17" gun metal rim. Grrr....Lucky I have a set of Z3's, R33 front bumper, and extra clears at home. The police said it was here fault so we'll see what happens with the insurance. Just had to vent sorry...
How does an insurance company fixing my car work. Like I know I take it to the body shop and they give me a estimate. So I was wondering do they send me the money or the body shop?

It depends on the insurance company. I have seen insurance companies send the money to the shop where the work was being done at and other insurance companies send the money to you

Re: (T-Mo)
If her insurance company is covering it you need to go get 3 or 4 estimates from GOOD body shops(not Maaco). Trust me on this, works like a charm. If you are going to fix it yourself then ask for a check back, and give them the highest estimate you can get. Make sure they estimate "ALL" the damage that occured during the fender bender. I guarantee you will come out ahead.

Yeah man, defientely look for the most damage you possibly can.
Get insurance to cut you a check and fix the work yourself or get a jdm front end but you seem to like show more so many a nice hood or something
