first honda!!
i just got my first honda a few weeks ago and love it!!! its a 90 sedan with the d15b2 for now. its not my daily driver but has a nice warm place in the garage lol. i will get pics up soon but she is clean! it hoping to put a zc in and boost it but i dont want you to see a thing done to it from outside the car or inside just when u pop the hood. so i will be sticking with honda wheels and honda radio and all im new to hondas i have always done muscle cars so i will have a lotta stupid questions but will try to do as much research as i can

Re: first honda!!
well ur start with the motor, realize that you love the sedan too much to leave it beat up by the years.
then u'll trickle down into the suspension. you'll start cheaper end. than you'll want tien basics or form and function type I's or II's
than itll be a custom exhaust.
than more engine work
than body and paint
than interior goodies.

Re: first honda!!
btw its the brown top motor! i know its pretty much bolt in and plug and play but im guessing i will have to mess with something lol. if anyone has done this swap let me know. what ecu would work at all and what would work best? im probably gonna go obd1 l8r and tune with crome but i just wanna get it on the road so i can dd it and sell my subie lol. my truck gets to bad mileage.
edit: its got a brown valve cover. it says d16a1 on the rear of the motor, no dizzy, single butterfly in the tb, what else can i check to see exactly what i have? i was told it came from a 88 integra usdm

Then it's a d16a1 I think there pretty much the same but a zc is JDM and the d16a1 is usdm in the 88-89 integras, as far as ecu your best bet is probably gonna be out of the sane car.. 88-89 integra..

i started autox'ing it in stock form with 150k on the odometer now, it still runs just as good as when it had 63k. for my first season of auotx, i'm usually finished mid pack in my class. not bad when you consider the car only made like 92hp! the thing handles though, and i've seen guys at the events with highly modded 4th gen civics just tearing the place up, so i know what its capable of. in fact, i have another thread here looking for pointers on upgrading the suspension.
so what muscle cars have you owned or still own?
