Engine Diagnosis - Need some help
My car sat in the driveway for 5 days. I go to start the car up and for about 0.5 seconds the car cranks like normal. But, then the engine starts turning over real fast. I thought it was the timing belt. Turns out that the cylinders have Zero or No compression. I performed a wet compression test on one of the cylinders and the pressure increased a lot.
What is causing this?? I know that it sounds like the rings because of the wet compression test but could all the rings "go bad" at once. I am wondering if the head gasket blew. Could this be possible?
Help is much appreciated

Re: Engine Diagnosis - Need some help
The car hasn't had any recent work. I've been driving it for a year.
The engine is a DOHC ZC that I put in about a year ago.
Timing belt is good.
Timing is good.
Starter is turning the engine over.
No or low compression in all cylinders.

It's definitely turning the flywheel? Perhaps it's freespinning?
If it was your rings or your headgasket I really don't think that all cylinders would have no compression.
Did you take your sparkplugs out?

I did a leak down test. All the exhaust valves are leaking? What could suddenly cause this to start happening?

When you crank it over, is the rotor in the distrubutor spinning?
I'm asking because I really think your timing belt broken even though you said it did not.
If the rotor doesn't spin and you are 100% sure the belt is still good, check the flywheel and make sure it spins when you crank it.
Guess then would be that your starter is spinning, but not engaging the flywheel.
