depends on the price.
i'd pay $1500-$2000 if it's really really nice. without actually seeing it in person, i'd say $750-$1000.

Everyone has a different definition of fast. What is your definition?
In my opinion, any little car running 13's or better is enough for most people to have fun with. To get into 13's, you might be better off swapping in a B series VTEC engine (or even an LS engine with major headwork and a VTEC tranny) with the common bolt ons, using nitrous on the ZC, or turbocharging the ZC.

Go look at it in person first, and take it for a test drive. Do a compression test also.
Than, after that, I'd come back and ask us.

Re: Ef sedan (CRX_1.8T)
I say hell yeah to the sedan project. I'm also bias about ef sedans The 91 EX is the heaviest out of them all due to all the power options. On a good note it does have bigger brakes then the DX, LX and the 88/91 EXs. If you're looking for a budget build I would boost the ZC and do some minor suspension work and whatever int/ext adjustments that you like. Then again, just my .02
