EF CRX motor swap help
Hey I was wondering if the 1.6 D16A6 is a direct bolt in to the HF CRX. I mean i know the motor mounts are the same. I just want to know if the wiring is plug and go or if i have to change any of it. This HF has a MPFI that came factory on the 1.5 D15B6.
Anyone have any advice?

yes the d16a6 is a direct bolt in into the hf engine bay all you have to do is take the engine harness off the hf motor and put it on the si engine i do advise doing this with both engines out of the car it is alot easier and faster. also use the si pm6 computer

no the harnesses aren't the same. yes, they are both multi-point motors but they wiring on an hf is ran form the opposite side of the car from an si and alot of the plugs are different. so you need the hf engine harness on the si motor. i had to do it when i had my old hf.
