Getting the EF hatch painted! Bought her 1 week ago and cant stand the flat black any longer. This is my 3rd EF hatch, my first was a MINT SI that I rebuilt the engine (burned oil) and sold, then I bought another hatch with a B16A swap, worked on it a bit, car had a fresh paint job, sold that and now I have this one. LS B18. I bought 200.00 worth of body materials, and primer. Still need to buy the Honda Red PPG paint, and 3 quarts of PPG clear, hardener and reducer. aAnother 350.00. All body work will be started this weekend and possibly finished. Paint will come the following weekend. Wondering if anyone has any words of advice? How well does paint stick to the textured black bumpers? I have seen them done before, but what do I do to make it last? anything? Any other problem areas on these cars? We are starting with a car that has absolutely no rust, just needs some repair here and there. Shouldnt be too bad. I cant wait for the finished outcome!
