Default DIY: dc integra sun visors conversion for 88-91 civics

The visors in the old ED3 were horrible. The vinyl turned to dust, exposing the cardboard inside. I went junkyard hunting and came up on a bunch of nice ED parts but all the visors were toast. I found a wrecked DC Integra with nice visors so the brain went to thinking:

the plastic base for the visors are different. the civic bolt holes are wider spaced apart. just swap em. use a pair of pliars to take off the round metal clip:



it should look like this:



I used a small socket to pound the locking clip back into place. don't forget to use the washers (I forgot).

Note: the visors are a tad shorter, they won't fit perfect into the clips, but you won't notice after a while.
mount both and enjoy new visors;






(females would like the mirror as well.)

Not bad, didn't know this would work. Might use it sometime, since the visors in my car are painted...
