Direct Bolt-On Mirrors???
Are the DA mirrors a direct fit onto a 91 Civic hatchback? I can find both DA mirrors a lot easier than just the right side Civic mirror in manual, plus I like the little bit sleeker look of the DA's.

That's a good question, you will have to measure both and compare. Of course you can always make it fit, but direct bolt on? Good question, you need to measure.

I don't think they are a direct bolt on I blieve you need to expand one of the holes and only use 2 of the 3 bolts but honestly I don't think the plastic peice will line up properly on the side of the door....

After looking at your link for the mirror conversion, maybe I could just kind of do part of that and switch the DA mirror housing onto the stock mounting base.
