Default Is this a decent deal? (1990 hf CRX)

Hello, I came across this CRX today and it looks to be in the price range I'm looking and seems pretty clean. Here are the details

1990 crx hf(clean tittle)
-jdm b16a motor(80k)
-jdm b16 tranny with lsd
-act racing clutch
-Trunk Strut Bar
-HASPORT MOTOR MOUNTS
-type r manifold
-P28 ECU WITH SKUNK2 CHIP(REDLINE 9500)
-skunk 2 cams,springs and retainers
-msd 6al
-blaster coil
-traction bars
-full onmin suspension
-straight pipe
-msd fuel pump
-fuel cell in the trunk(no gas tank)
-brand new paint(viper blue)
-hx rims with tires
-integra cluster
THERES NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!! THE CAR RUNS GREAT!!!

clean tittle and registered untill 2009

He is asking $2500 and from the picture it looks to be in great condition. I'll probably turbo it next summer or maybe this one if I can scrounge up the cash.

**Update**
I just talked to him and he is selling to because he needs a work truck. Also he said that I would need to smog it I'm going to look around and see if I can get some favors. Also he states 125k on the shell. I'm going either tomorrow or friday to check it out. How can I make sure when I go to check it out that it has all the parts stated? Such as; cams, retainers, springs, msd fuel pump, etc?

Thanks!

ya its been hit pretty badly in the rear from the side or corner. With the quarter panel bent like that the Right tail light should stick out. It has been modified to look flush. Also the bumper looks shoved over too.

if the seller will smog it for you before the sale which is what your suppose to do by law. Then I guess its a ok deal. At least you'll have 2yrs to figure out how your gonna smog it to keep it legal unless you have a hook up.

theres gotta be a reason he's selling it and if you cant find that reason, run.

if you can, and its not something critical, (chassis/motor) then scoop it up.

If you want to buy someone elses work. Handle it!!!

no fun buying a already built car and mashing it.

To each is own

I know that is the only gripe I have about it. I wanted to build one up myself, but my funds just wont allow for it at this time. I guess I could turbo, and do some toher touches to make it my own.

P.S. I just talked to him and he is selling to because he needs a work truck. Also he said that I would need to smog it I'm going to look around and see if I can get some favors. Yeah, I'm probably not going to get it. He said it has a CEL on and he doesnt know why. He bought the car like that so who knows what could be wrong with it.

You'd have to pull off the valve cover if hes cool with that to check for the cams, springs and retainers.

FYI, that turn signal pictured has screws in the side which means it's an 88-89 CRX and I can't see where the seatbelts are, if theyre on the door, or on the pillar. But the gauge cluster is from a 90-91 tho. Mix and match assortment of parts on that car apparently.

You won't be able to smog that motor without hookups. First of all, B16 swap, not legal unless a smog refree makes up a BAR sticker for it. Secondly, straight pipe is a no-no anywhere.

post dyno sheet

its not just the valves hitting the pistons, you got to atleast throw some arp rod bolts to rev to 9500 consistantly. im sure you can physically do it without but for a track/street car i would personally focus on the oem bolts from streching/

If you want it get it, if you don't then don't.

Please see the rules #4 or #5 I can't remember which one.
