Default Dead Pedal?

Anyone installed one of these on an EF? Just curious, i havent seen one.

They are available on the Si trim.
It's not too bad to install. I believe if you pull up your carpet, there are dimples there to show how to mount a factory dead pedal. I'm planning on installing one in my car soon.

ah ok so they exist for an EF. I wonder if the sedan will have the bolt holes...

I did this before in an EG cx, the bolt holes were there since the SI takes the dead pedal.

You will have to drill the holes. But, at least there is something to show you where the holes should go.

Sedan EX models probably had the dead pedal as well...
EFs are so similar, the sedan should definitely have the dimples too.

Lol. I've heard that one mitsubishi eclipse model had variable valve lift control on the "dead pedal" lol

Cuz i dont have cruise in the EX, everything related to it has been removed. Not by me this time either, haha.

that sucks i think cruise control is the best thing for driving long distances...!!!

I never liked cruise control in a 5speed, feels weird to me.

haha well that sucks!

You could always get all of the cruise components from a sedan LX (easiest to get) and just install everything...

Its not that hard, just get the underdash stuff like the control unit and the accelerator pedal (not certain if they are different), and the engine compartment unit and run the wiring with an LX cluster bezel with cruise button.
