d16z6 dizzy question
i was wonderin if the d16z6 and the d16y8 cap and rotor are the same on the dizzy? if so that means i can swap the y8 cap from my y8 dizzy to my z6 dizzy correct?

but the only thing is the y8 is a obd-2 dizzy tho will it work and hopefullie not fry the ecu cuz of the coil?

i'm not positive but i think the distributors are the same. i'm running a 91 si distributor on a z6. just buy new ones, cap and rotor is not expensive.

there not..i bought one today...its just that i thought that you coudlnt just get the cap until i went to honda today and found out after 91 they started to sell there cap and rotor's seperate instead of a set...thats tight..anyways well i got a new cap already thanks tho

There are differences. In fact, a Y8 distributer won't bolt to a Z6 head (and vice versa). I am not sure about the cap, though.
