d16a8 internals
hello guys! so as you know,d16a8 is not very strong for forced induction.as far as i know,it should handle like 220 hp without big problem, but if want to go for more, what cheap mods can be done? i have heard about b16 rods.can you tell me more?

what the hell is your question?
just get je pistons and rods. then you wont have to worry about your internals, just your sleeves

Re: d16a8 internals (gnar kill)
the price for tuner toys rods is just very nice.but i am not in the country list that they are shipping to... the price will be much bigger if i will get em. but i was asking that, cos i heard somewhere that b18 pistons and b16 rods were used in d16.but that maybe wrong info, thats why i am asking.my goal is to make ~300 bhp ..

Re: d16a8 internals (doncez)
use LS rods in a D16 you have to machine them (dont quote me on this but last time i did it was like 0.040" on each side so 0.080" each rod) like $5 per rod, get them shot peened and deburred another $5 a rod, so $40 later... it will hold at least 300whp

depends on tuning yes, which means 2 things most importantly fuel mapping and fuel delivery (computer and injectors)
the most ive ever squeezed out of a remapped P28 ecu with rc310 injectors on stock pistons is 250 whp, anything beyond that went kaboom
