Default d15b6 in ef hatch wiring problems

first thanks to you all who made this site what it is. i'm a noob here. wrecked my 88 crx hf so i decided to put the motor into an 88 hatch body i had, didn't have money to fix the rex right now. the 88 hatch is of unknown origin, it had no motor in it when i got it. it appears there was a "b" motor in it due to the dent on the frame under the master cylinder, and also the mount on the front cross member missing. so anyway i put in the d15b6 into the hatch, and on the passenger side the round plug and the rectangular plug matched up. but on the driver side the round plugs did not match up and also the motor harness has an extra green rectangular plug. i know both the cars are obd0 because the ecm from my 88 hf plugged into the hatch under the glovebox. i believe the green rect. plug goes to the resistor box? haven't been able to find much info on this since most people throw away hf motors. top pic is plug coming from the chassis harness and bottom pic is the plugs coming from the motor harness. thanks for the help.

i ran into this problem when purchasing motor wire harness. apparently those connectors are different by models. si, dx and hf... but finding a dash harness for that engine harness will not solve that problem either. cuz the connector from the dash to the fuel pump/rear lights are different ALSO.. i think your best bet would be to purchase a engine harness that works with that car. look up the vin and find out what it is exactly. u will save a **** load of headaches later on and everything will be neatly done instead of wires spliced all over the place and 5 years later you cant remember the wires you previously cut. good luck. hope this helps a little bit. try ordering a Chilton manuel.. they show all connectors and wire colors for every model
