Re: OBD-0 --> OBD-1 Pinouts - Correct? (dr_latino999)
^^ uh not sure what you are saying ^^ the connector plugs into the connector
Your wondering where the 5th wire goes? I am not positive on that sorry (don't have a manual for a vx)
And so far so good. I get a check engine light that comes and goes but I am almost positive its just running rich. It runs strong though. I am having a bogging issue while I am at a idle but when i punch it it holds up strong no hesitation what so ever.
I am going to do a tune up today hopefully and then check for vacuum leaks. I am going to put a p72 ecu in and see if my codes are different since the p28 I am using has been chipped and played around with.

I will double check on my other computer I had it saved on my favorites. There is a thread on http://www.hondaswap.com that tells how to do a 5-4 wire conversion harness. I am sure it would tell you what the pin is if you need to know.

Re: OBD-0 --> OBD-1 Pinouts - Correct?
ok well i got my harness with all that vtec mumbo jumbo, hooked up too. Now im lost with the 02 sensor (a.k.a the 1 to 4 wire 02 sensor).
these are the color of my wires, im trying to figure out which one goes connected to what on my sub harness.....
On my jumper harness for the 02 Sensor plug, can anyone of you tell me wich wire is for what??? So far purple is ground, but i don't know the others.
Here's how it's coming from my harness...
A6 (blue-wire) 02 heater control
A25 (red-wire) 12V power
B1 (red-wire) Alt. 12V power
D14 (white-wire) 02 sensor input
So now the problem is what do i connect what to???
Feel free to connect the wires in the pics above thanks, more of a visual DIY'r.

Re: OBD-0 --> OBD-1 Pinouts - Correct? (SSJSubgeta)
looks like i was able to figure out, how to wire the 02 4 wire sensor, yay for me.
check it out...
Now im left with 5 wires (2 purple, 3 Black, and all of them are ground)
2 purple ground wires (1 is coming from the 02 sensor, and the other 1 is coming from the Vtec)
3 Black ones coming from A23, A26 and B2
Now as far as these grounds go, Do I just wire them to a good ground source in the engine bay?

Re: D.I.Y. / FAQ - OBD-0 --> OBD-1 Pinouts and Conversion Help (Slystone)
Me again children, I have finally started my car again since the catastrophe that befelled it at the end of August when it spun a bearing. The new setup is a D16A6 bottom end with a Z6 head, of course OBD-1
My ever present list of codes
Code 9 - CYP What do you all use to run shielded wires? Do you chop out out the bits of harnesses that are shielded and re use those or is there a way to do it yourself?
