code 16 on b16
im not really good reading codes but i have a one blink for a long time and then 6 blinks after each other i think i have a code 16 which i think is fuel injectors. can that be the resistor box or it has to be fuel injector?????? when i fire up the car it tries to shut down but it doesnt. it just fails sometimes. what will that be .???????????? and also when i start up the car the ecu gives me more codes but when i turn off the car it only gives me code 16 so any help will be appreciated

start by replacing your injector o-rings to ensure a proper seal between the injectors and the fuel rail. they shouldn't cost much at all. if that does not solve the problem, check your wiring. you could also try another resistor box if you have a friend that would just let you try their's for a few minutes to eliminate problems. also would be a good idea to buy a haynes or chiltons manual for trouble shooting procedures.

yeah i'd say the box is good then. when my integra through code 16 i went to the junkyard and swiped 4 injectors from another integra and when i was changing them i saw one of my seals was bad but i went ahead and switched the injectors anyhow. so if it's not your o-rings, oh well, you spent like 5 bucks to trouble shoot, then you just take a trip the junkyard and grab some injectors, the new o-rings on them and replace them. good luck man.

Re: (EFRue57)
as long as you take them off of an integra that is obd0. as in a 90 or 91. not sure if the first gen integras ran the same size injectors or not. and im not 100% on the b16s and ls engines using same size injectors, can someone else verify on that one? i don't mess with b16s, never liked them personally.
