alright...this is like my 8th different post i guess but everytime in between there my car runs fine for a week or so then starts dying...alright heres the situation...all this didnt start till after i put a new fuel pump in my car

ill be driving somewhere...either ill hit the brakes and the brakes will feel stiffer than usual and that kinda seems to telegraph my car going to die...it doesnt die when i stop...ill go to hit the gas to go somewhere and i get little response from the pedal and then it stutters and dies

takes me like 3 more times to start it and then i can go until i stop again...andd to top it all off...if the rpms get below 2k while in gear its like my car bogs out on me and the gas pedal is of no use so after ive had enuf of trying to get it to move i push in the clutch my car instantly dies...i have no clue wuts goin on and i start college again this week and i need this car plz help me any1.

I had a similar problem with my hatch. Check all your grounds. Thats why mone would just shut off. As for the studder below 2 grand, mine only did it when the exhaust snapped after the cat, i don't think it had enought back pressure or maybe the O2 sensor is reading incorrectly. If your exhaust is a full system and you have no leaks this doesn't really apply to you i guess. Just giving sinerios, good luck -later

well i have a full system...and check this out...i had a b16 swap in it before...now i have a b18...so i sitll have the pr3 for the b16 and when i put that in...the cel code for the o2 sensor comes on and wont go away...the pr4 for the b18 has no codes but sometimes throws like 6 codes at once when im driving somewhere...but they go away when i turn my car off and randomly appear as im driving..so i dunno maybe ill get a new o2 sensor...i know its old...keep comin with ideas guys
