Cali smog with ebay header?
So i tried searching, but nothing came up. Has anyone tried smogging their car with an ebay header?
I'm asking mainly because the DC headers are for CARB exempt for 92-00 civics so im not sure they would work on a crx, as far as smog and fitment.

When I was getting my cars smogged down there, alot of times it didnt matter if I had a CARB exempt sticker/number/tag... They always told me that it doesnt pass the "Visual" test. "NO HEADERS ALLOWED"... Then I would go home or to my shop and swap it for the factory manifold and go back to the same guy and he would laugh cause he knew it would pass anyway.. But CA is real tough on that stuff.

if your just getting it smogged then you should be ok with an ebay header, if people give you probs with it just go somewhere else and get it done, if you are getting it reffed then it is differnet you have to have a carb legal header for the engine in your car and they will lift the car and check for #s

Its going to be up to whomever does your test. Some will look the other way and some will turn you down. Aftermarket headers w/out CARB approval are ILLEGAL in CA hands down.
If it is going to the REF to get BAR'D they will run the carb#'s so it MUST be for the engine you are bar'ing the car to.
