062810 Update: Been collecting swap needz /"wants" (along with collecting guitarz again-I know rt?) Not far from being ready to swap.Building head that came disassembled,I have choice of orig b16a ,GSR ,or unknown camz (haven't spec'd em,but prolly just a set of 2nd gen b16),we'll see which set I use for all motor and which for when I build B20 bottom for boozt! (not gonna boozt b16a,nope!) Also picked up anotha 1st gen VC to "cut",set of uzed aem adj camgearz for now (want some more blinging, ones later,lol) Only need gaskets,TO bearing,and a few asstd "needz" and booya that biscuit in her... (and parting out my 88 si "convert",putting it'z dohc zc 5 spd into my boozted 88 sedan,building 75.5 jdm d15b block w vitaraz I've had for awhile-ALOT of swapping about to occur here,yup!)

Nice find. Similar to my luck. I bought my 91 Si for 100 bucks with 89k miles and when i checked the back, there was a virgin B16B block in a plastic bag.

What kind of power difference did you notice with the mini me over a6? Im throwing togather a fresh rebuilt a6/y8 mini me, with basic bolt ons.. awesome build by the way

Thx,About 25ish bolt-on hp (but then again,I tune my own ecuz) I actually almost just installed a cam (orig was snapped @ camgear,wtf?) on her orig a6 or another a6 head (since I have a few) before deciding to z6 mini me (since I had clean low mileage z6 head) on her til B swap in.(the bolt-on HP was deciding factor,lol)

Less than a stack for all of it.Still stoked! about ready to install b swap,but been busy installing brand new Holset in my boozted 88 sedan,along with a crx si rack,spindlez (just good bearing'd replacements til spare set gets extended arp studs/new bearingz I've had for like over a year now,ha ha) Installed new "Whinebro" 392 inline on sedan today,definitely NOT starving for more fuel + adding 1000cc PTEz prolly tomorrow.Lightz up both front 17z @ 55mph,quite a hoot!

Small update: couple new goodiez I bought today
1. another B16 head (complete minus camz,but have 3 setz now,GSR/ B16A/ some aftermarket unknowns?,ha ha) Only 3k on it since rebulid he said.Came with Brian Crower dual springz/and Ti retainer kit. Wanted these parts for my other head anyways,so... (plus can use this one for boozt CR-Vtec B20 build,and leave my NA JDM B16A intact yo!)
2. BLOX 66mm throttle body, (have BDL 70mm-but it's for my Holset / Vitara 88 sedan).Brand new out of box w BLOX Tps.Seller gave me both for cheap!!! (some would cry if I stated total paid-love Craigslist, sometimez...) Only really bought it since gave me hella deal on it.
3.and this:
Juzt need 2 get T/O bearing,and the fluidz needed.Pull A6/Z6 mini me,cut DA linkage,base' Mo l8trz...

Oldschool hasport aluminum (original design,"1st gen design",unsure of year of them-but not the latest blinging billet set,obviously) Seen them on some other older b swaps and articles online...
In other news,gonna rock the 2nd b16 head I picked up recently since already built w/ Ti retainers and dual springz.(waiting for headset,and thermal gaskets to arrive,and T/O bearing)
