b18a1 right into a 91 dx hatch?????
Whats up every1? Ok I have a 91 dx hatch that has a d16a6 swapped in already(was in there when i bought the car). I just reacently picked up a B18A1 out of a 90 integra and am goin to drop it in soon. I know that i need to get the motor mounts and shift lingkage for a b series engine so that i can do the swap, and i need to get a pm4 ecu. My question is Does any one know if i will have to do any type of rewire at the ecu or engine harness? Or does the motor just drop right in? been doin alot of research and cant find an answer to this one so any help would be much appreciated.

Yes you need to get a mount kit. Hasport, place racing, etc. you will not need to do any wiring conversion as long as your car has already been converted from dpfi to mpfi (I assume that has allready been done since you are running a d16a6 motor) Just plug your stock engine wire harness up to the b18

youre looking for a PR4 ecu, not a PM4. And make sure you get one from a manual. I made the mistake of not specifying which exact part number, and end up with one from an auto. Threw a code 12 for months. finally got the right one.
