Default b18a1 crx bad injector timing?

I put a 93 obd1 b18a1 into a 88 crx si and converted the car to obd1. It cranks but wont start, the main relay is fine, fuses are fine, the grounds are fine, timing is fine, i got spark and fuel, the distributor is wired right. Im pretty sure the ecu is good also because the integra was my daily driver before i pulled the motor. However on the main relay harness pin 1 and pin 4 do not get power. When I tried to start it on starting fluid it shot flames out of the intake manifold. Ive asked around and i think it is the injector timing. I think it could be the rywire obd0-obd1 conversion harness... maybe the 89-91's are slightly different than the 88's. im hoping i can just swap a couple wires and fix it, if anybody has any thoughts please help. thanks.

why not call rywire? hes pretty smart when it comes to wireing im pretty sure if there was an 88 only thing they would tell you. was the crx running fine before you swaped it? maybe its the ignition switch not giving power to the main relay?

I bought the crx as a shell, so i know im shooting in the dark a little bit but it was cheap. It cranks so I thought that ruled out the ignition switch but i might be wrong. Also my neighbor is a pretty knowlegable mechanic and he said since when we tried to start it on starting fluid, it shot flames back out the intake manifold it was probably the injector timing since my regular timing is fine and then he suggested the conversion harness could be the culprit and i figured since that could also cause the loss of power to the main relay it made sense. Thanks for the help and ill be calling rywire tomorrow when i get out of school since i get out too late today.
