B16A/ CRX PW0 ecu and redlines @ 7300???
Instead of trusting the seller I checked the ECU this evening and it is NOT a P28 as I said on my earlier thread.
It is a PW0.
More information....
It is in the mid 30's here and the temp gauge never moved off the cold peg.
I am thinking maybe the thermostat is stuck open or missing???
Before I check I would like to have a new one ready to put in either way.
1. What thermostat will work?
2. Where does the PW0 vtec hit and what is redline rpm?
3. Am I crazy thinking the motor is just not up to operating temp and that is the reason for the 7300 rpm cut?
4. Also looked under the car tonight and saw the two header tubes closest to the ground have been smashed to about 1/2 original diameter.... I'm sure this isn't helping much.
Thanks again--- with you guys' help I'll do all I can to get this heap running strong as it can.
It is a PW0.
