Default B16A in a 88 CRX HF help please

Hi,
I want to do a b16a to my 88 crx hf but on http://b16a.honda-perf.org/prelim.html it said i would need new spindles because they are diffferent than the other crx's

could someone explain to me please what the spindles are? and do i really need to change them? thanx

yeah.. the hf spindles are one tooth too small to fit the axels you need. you would probably use the 90-93 teg ones.... in any case you can purchase either a 88-91 SI or DX knuckles. Do not by the STD or the HF knuckles... You can also find DA or CRX SIR knuckles.

Spindles are what the axles plug into to move the wheels.. and YES you need them... a least to drive the car.
