if your doing things with all OEM parts and sticking within factory limits you can get the gaskets for the 00 civic Si (b16a2). the only thing that doesnt match from that engine is the electronic stuff

thats the same engine, for the most part, for the 00 civic si, its actually a b16a3 instead of the a2

i always refer to the civic si engine parts as less confusion for most idiots working the counter at your local parts place. too many times i have had to explain to the people which engine with the Del Sol. when saying the 00 Civic Si there isnt any confusion

but yes the rings and gasket kit will work. also i would advise replacing the bearings, rod and crank, since you pulling it apart anyway.

I used teg type R piston rings for my build.
The diff between the b16 and b18 is stroke.

i would only say that for the piston heads, there are some other things that wont swap from the B18 to a B16. and i doubt your going to gain much by going with a type r pistons rings. if anything i would go aftermarket
