95 si hydro tranny into 89 ef
this is a 95 si tranny?
will this bolt up?
i really dont know what clutch or flywheel to get.....20 teeth 21 teeth....no clue.
and is there anything i can do besides buying the innovative or hasport hydro cable conversion kit to make this work?
if i were to get the kit i am unclear as to what it does really?
does it make a hydro tranny work just like a cable?
thanks in advance

Re: 95 si hydro tranny into 89 ef (Joe...)
u need to use the clutch and press plate and flywheel that matches the tranny and for mounts from what iv heard the 91 mounts should work except for the rear tranny bracket that needs to be off a 92-95 hydro tranny

You really need to search. This has been covered many times over.

Your other option is to install a complete hydraulic clutch system.
You will need a '90-00 D-series flywheel and clutch disc if you don't already have those. The '88-89 flywheel and clutch disc are smaller in diameter (200mm vs. 212mm), and the '88 (only) clutch disc has a different number of splines (21 vs. 20).
Why are you asking about this?
