Re: 91 HB civic SI build up !
I've been very busy for the last 3 month, but i have done lots of jobs on the project car since the last update :
- I Realised that i had the wrong shift linkage (civic EK = too long) , so i cutted them and then weld the pieces together
- I fixed up 4 coolant leaks (replaced all the clamps)
- The headlight and flashers wire needed to be repaired a few place, i fixed them.
- Installed a fonctionnal horn and winshield washer fluid tank and pump
- The engine was in a very bad angle because of a wrong rear mount. I found another one that fixed up this problem. Now everything is right
- I've been looking for a very bad issue of the car : when i move the shift linkage in the different gear position, the ecu is going on and off and on and off..... 12 volts is intruding the shift link. it's a very complicated trouble, i tried a lot of ground replacement and even add some. I have not fixed this trouble yet. an expert is supposed to give me a little of help in the next weeks.
EDIT : this has been fixed, i found some bad wire (no solder joint) in the botom of the driver 's foot, under the loom. been repairing this and everything is fine now
- I have prepared the floor to be painted (black) to prevent rust.
- I have repaired a seat braket (the one who the rail is screwed to)
- I have been replacing the VSS unit and cable, now cluster is working
- I installed a new set of wheel from RAYS japan 1992.
- I have been building the front end of the car.
I'll keep updating this in the next month.
Thank you for support, i learn a lot of thing with my project. it is very nice for me,
Have a good day

Re: 91 HB civic SI build up !
you need some type of air intake please. nice build, just looks like another ghetto inner city swap, there too cheep to even run there stock intake.... my buddy has a true CTR and went back to the stock but cracked intake because he was loosin power with a coldair/ short ram setup... my XSI and SIR have the stock intakes as well. fyi, stock is sometimes the best/cleanest way.... just my take...

from the looks of the interior i dont think he has been driving the car so maybe thats why it doesnt have a intake on it,im sure it will when he gets it road ready!!!
also the stock peices are good and clean looking but a good quality cai, or a short ram with a v stack should make more power on any swap especially a b-swap
