Well I have done some looking around (searching the net) and I have tried all suggestions thus far and my car still has an interment idle problem. Mostly happens when cold or running for less than 15 minutes. What happens is the idle will jump from 1200 RPM and then drop to 300 (or so) RPM.

So far I have replace the EACV (with a used one) I have check the EACV to make sure it reads between 8 and 15 Ohms (reads at 13.2) I set the idle to the middle hash mark on the Tach with the EACV disconnected. And I bleed the coolant thinking that there could be some air in the system.

I issue is still there but better, seems to do it once a day vs. 4 to 5 times a day. I am going to try bleeding the coolant system again because I noticed the most change when I did that (I removed a lot of air). If any one has any more ideas or suggestions please throw them my way, I feel the EF forum has had a lot of good threads for me to read from but nothing seems to be working.

I have not upgraded the fuel pump... I think it is the orignal one too!

Vacume leak, I thought so too. I have replaced all (most) of the lines with the real steel braided stuff from CSK.

I will try the fuel pump, just one on eBay? like $100 bucks new shipped...

If it still has the issue after that I am going to cough up the cash and get a NEW EACV!
