Looks amazing, really coming together nicely! Did you have any issues taking off the door handles? Also how did you get your door moldings off without breaking the clips?

The wheels i have had for like 15 years...i will guess Rota but its been so long i dont believe i bought spoon's. I did not have any issues taking the door handles off, you just have to be very careful to not mess up the paint. In this case putting them on is the tedious task The door moldings i took off so long ago i do not recall if i broke any. Fenders, rear quarter and door center molding on both sides are brand new oem. That also goes for the strip at the bottom of the window, the one around the window on the inside and then the top of the door where it meets the car. The door sashes are also brand new oem.

Damn that's a lot of minty fresh oem goodness!

Are those pieces still available through the dealer or did you purchase them long ago and just keep them hoarded?

I also want to know this.

I have connections from when I worked for Honda for a decade but still have not been able to get new factory EF parts for the last 5 years. It looks like someone bought out all of the OEM parts then is selling them for a ton more online.

Haha not sure why i uploaded that video...got some more engine parts incoming this week. i think for now i will stop with the body. focus on getting the motor built and put into the car to give her roughly 500 miles of a engine/clutch break in before i piece together a turbo kit

Whaaat, no way! I haven't been in the scene long at all (Bought my EF in June of last year) but I swear to god, every time I google an EF/CRX question, I always see the Acid Beaver comments whether it be on here, d-series.org, etc. Always noticed them because you had a wacky profile picture and were banned basically everywhere lmfao

Great job with the build by the way! The car is looking awesome, I can't wait to see where you take it. That wiring is inspiring (ha, I made a rhyme), it seriously looks super well done!

Just to clarify if you were calling me The Acid Beaver....i am not. I have had conversations with him way back in the mid 2000's on thezcr when it existed or was even thezcresource.

Synchrotech / MFactory parts are in.
Carbon Rebuild Kit
MFactory Helical LSD

I would also like to state that i ordered 1 diff bearing accidently BUT within 5 minutes of my purchase i received an email saying i only ordered one and they are typically ordered in pairs. I agreed and it was my error as i didnt look over the order. Super simple fix and greatly appreciated the email. Synchrotech customer service has 2 thumbs up!

Nice work on the tranny. I’m interested, doing the rebuild yourself is it pretty straightforward?

Surprisingly it is, there is quite a few videos on youtube discussing/showing it. That being said just remove things as as you do keep them in order then its quite simple. Having access to a press and puller made some tasks easy too. Ordered an OEM headgasket and oil pump of which should be here thursday. I dont want to assemble the motor till it can all go together. a JBtuned fuel tuck kit is in order too. On the fuel topic im going to try and drain my tank and see whats up or just end up dropping it to see if i can flush it. Its been sitting for ehhh a long time.
