Blu and Pres- that appears to be a JDM DC2 ITR cluster. It has 8.5k redline.

nice... I've seen alum exhaust done but that's the first time I've seen it done on the EF that way.
I would of been worried of the pipe having to hang same level as fuel tank. But nice exhaust nonetheless. = )

haha, thanks man! Im trying to keep quality parts on the car. Drew told me he thought it was a real one but wasnt sure since it had no markings. I tried looking around on google and this one didnt really look like any of the "real" ones i saw, so I figured it was a replica. Good to know!

yea it was one of the very last ones Randy(RMF) made I bought it from him before people stoped getting their manifolds from him..think he got sick and passed away or something like that not sure.. the only thing it was missing is the stamp on the runners but if you look at the reps they are all 2 piece manifolds and this one is one piece and the runners on this one are a bit bigger in diameter then the reps...its a quality header and super rare!!!

I do need to do this. Im trying to save up for a Hondata S300/Tune instead of tuning on the ECTune. I dont like that Im not able to plug in my laptop and atleast see whats going on if things start going bad. Shooting for after the new years to get Hondata put in and dyno tune the car.

IMHO & some experiance (lol)
S300 is spendy $400-500 used... $600 new.
I don't reccomend as first choice for most people unless the setup highly calls for it.
I think of the +65 hondas we tuned last year (mn sucks... season only may to oct)... 90% were crome with zero issues. Sometimes S300 gives off RF noise & disables live datalogging and you have to play around with the datacable, placement of the labtop, ecu or add a switch to the ecu to turn it on vs it doing it automatically.
Crome would be prefectly fine on your application.
make sure your ecu has the 4pin datalogger port on the board, get datalog cable and you can see live values. Now to make "live" changes it does require a few more parts.
But if you can swing it, go for it, but don't feel like your car is less inferior with out S300.
Cheers.

Re: 91 Civic Si Track Build - B18C-R|EF9 SIR Converted
The car runs excellent on ECTune right now, no issues whatsoever. Im just used to Hondata, and like how easy it is to work with. I have sourced a S300 for $450 and getting a good deal on tune. Ill prob be somewhere around $7-800 all said and done with a tune. I can get the car tuned now for $250 on ECTune.
The other reason I want Hondata is because the few tuners I feel comfortable with will only tune on Hondata. Ill keep not what you said about the datalogging though!
