91 Civic DX Service Connector Problem.
I recently installed a DOHC ZC into my 91 DX hatch. Im running a PM6 Ecu. Everything is running really good except the service connector under the passenger side dash will not activate my CEL. Im trying to set the Distributor timing and cannot get the CEL to come on with it jumped. I know the CEL works because it comes on with the key and I had a VSS code before that I fixed (damn speedometer cable). The plug has brown and green/white stripe wires. Ive tried everything and I know im getting a good connection between the wires. Would converting from DPFI to MPFI have anything to do with it? Im not having any other issues with the swap other than this problem. Just trying to make sure the ignition timing is on point. Thanks for the help...

Re: 91 Civic DX Service Connector Problem.
Also have another question.... Is it worth it to find a PM7 or PG7 ecu? Does it make a difference? I know running the correct ECU will be better but is it worth tracking one down? If so should I go with a PM7 or PG7 ? I have a 89 PM6 and those cannot be chipped correct?
