Damn, I wish I could get into the 14's. I have the trap speed (93.9 mph) with a 15.1 . I need to get some better tires than the shitty BFG's I have on my stock 14 inch blades and I need more practice.

i have yet to drag my 91 hf with b16a, but your time gives me hopes of a mid-14 sec run.

Same here, I have a little bit more mods than the original poster but havnt tried to drag race it since the closest drag strip is like 70 miles away. Sounds like your making some good times especially on street tires.

Do you still have the slip? If so can you post it up?
A friend of mine dosn't believe a B16 powered CRX can run faster than 15.1 without a lot of work done to it.

I have plenty of video footage and timeslips of stock B16a CRX with full interior running low or mid 14's. Years ago, I swapped a 1st gen JDM B16a engine in a customer's 89 CRX SI ( the heavy trim ) using the stock PWO ecu, stock JDM header, IceMan Intake, ACT clutch, stock flywheel, etc.
Mike, good choice converting your CRX to OBD1. Most of the 4th gen CRX/Civics that were swapped by HAND COMMAND are usually converted to OBD1. The ones that werent in the begining, are now done.
The 2 main advantages of going OBD1 in your 4th gen is no more looking for DOHC VTEC obd0 dizzys if they fail, and more engine mangagement flexibility like Hondata, Uberdata, etc.
Heck, I converted my 90 CRX years ago to OBD1 when those OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harnesses were $200-300 dollars. Yes, I actually cut, repinned, and soldered every single wire at the ECU! What a feat, but with the conversion harnesses now with a lower price, its better to get one of those and plug and play. It was easier for me because I install mobile electronics for a living also.
Those times are not too shabby for what you have done. Keep up the good times .

I drive an 88 hatch, which is a bit lighter than a B16 powered CRX, and I hit a 14.3@97... on street tires. So tell your friend to believe it
Oh yeah, mods were: intake, exhaust (test pipe), chipped ecu, in a gutted car.

Wow, sweet run!
Just came from the 1/8 mile track here in Houston and lot's of 9.2 and up times from modified domestic & imports and was not sure what that translated to in the 1/4. I too have your set up minus the wheels/tires so looking forward to getting close to that once I come across some good wheels.
