to be honest no clue all i really know is its a B16a cable tranny with LSD and a stage 3 ACT clutch

talked to the shop where i got the car and they sait its the clutch he said "every ACT clutch ive seen has made that noise" he then described it to the T. so its not a mechanical problem its just the sound the clutch make. does this sound right?

Do you have the ACT 6puck/4puck unsprung clutch? If so, I know exactly what squeal you are talking about. I had that on my old ACT clutch.

Mine would do that squeal when I would start to accelerate and let off the clutch in 1st gear somewhat loud and in 2nd gear but not as loud. Can you accelrate at any point without making it squeal? I could get it to be quiet if I would take off.

one thing just in case my boy had a squeling noise in his hatch his lsd tranny made that noise the differential actually was goin bad aka the lsd was going bad just a thought
