89 Civic Wagon need a little more horsepower
Hi, I have a 89 civic wagon with a DPfi with A/T. I want to increase the HP. slightly. I have read enough to know the throttle body only opens halfway, and there is a small restrictor plate under it. I also know the D15b2 has a better cam than mine. My cat is under the car, not in the manifold. Keeping it simple, and low cost, Specifically, what is the best way to get 10-15 more horsepower from it, and will I have to change the ECU in the process. I am not really wanting to go that far. I might be willing to go to a MPfi swap, but would that mean a different ECU? Can I keep what I have and improve it? I know it's a dog, but I would like a slightly faster dog. Thanks.

DIY Make dpfi flow better - D-series.org
it works believe it or not if your too cheap to do mpfi lol
