I tried this (89 si cluster into 91 civic hatch) and got nothing but a headache. Said expletive it, went out, spent 15$, got a 91 dx cluster, and bolted it right in with no problems. (well, my cluster doesn't work, but it's because the cluster is dead, or the dizzy wasn't signalling right...not sure which the problem is yet, cuz I started putting in the LS motor)
