88 CRX Questions
I am probably going to buy a 88 crx si from a local seller, and I have alot of performance plans for it. I was wondering what the most popular engine swaps are for this year and model? How hard are they? How expensive? How much can I plan on spending in order to get it to a moderate performance level? What is the most common turbo used? Any important information that I need to know about it before I dive in head first? Basically any information about it would be a LOT of help, and would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

Re: 88 CRX Questions (TempeZx3)
zc and b16a swaps are more common imo. zc = 500-800$ b16a (deepending on generation) = 1200 - 2300$ zc bolts right in, b16 (and all other b series) require new engine mounts and usually an adjustable shiftlinkage, axles, wire harness, ecu etc. zc drops right in uses factory mounts factory si wire harness and can be used w/ si ecu, axles and shiftlinkage. zc = easy. bseries: b18 easy, b16 easy gotta wire up vtec, b18c1 its a b16 swap w/ headaches including obd conversions and wiring. b18c5 = never done that one prolly same as b18c1. i know im missing info others reply and add on
