D16A1, the 86-87 integra DOHC engine bolts right in. 113 hp to start. Not to bad on a 1800 lb. car! You can get it damn cheap and install is easy for some Joe Blow mechanic. Some simple bolt ons, build the engine slightly before it goes in you'll have a 14 car EASY.

When I did my buds, it was even more, but basically, the mounts and harness from Hasport is alot more, you have to get Teg knuckes, Hasport axle shafts and some old inner/outer cvs and boots...
Of course if you're resourceful it could be less, but the cost of extra stuff for this swap just piled up, unlike the swap into my bud's 91 CRX.

Also brown top ZC and teg black top ZC will bolt in just as easily as a D16A1, just more hp, although the distributor is different on the black top.

Re: 87 SI (rpr)
HASport probably figures that there isn't nearly the market for the B-series swap in a 84-87, so they jack up the price to compensate for low volume.
Any D16A1 bolts in - regardless of valve cover color. The 88-89 D16A1 requires "advanced" wiring.
