86 crx block question

Default 86 crx block question

i have an 86 crx si with a d15a3 mpfi in it and i search already and found one thing about puting a vtec head on it but it got me nowhere..i was wondering if neone ever put a newer head on this older motor..or if the block with even match up close enuff.igot the car in the drive way but im trying to save myself the time and the money of pulling it off and seeing if its the same block as the 5 other motors in my garage.....anyone ever mess with one of these????? (it doesnt even have to b a vtec head)

you will not be able to match up any vtec head to the d15a3

The only motor that will go into that car is from a 86-89 integra, all other motors require new mounts and everything.

Is the car an SI? If it is your job is a whole lot easier and cheaper and than trying to swap the carb'ed motor out.
