6th gen radiator swap --> CRX SiR
Can anyone tell me if I can swap a 96+ Civic radiator into a 1991 CRX SiR (EE8/ EF8) and will the cooling be sufficient or do I need to swap the VTi radiator? Do the hoses connect similar like a 4th gen radiator?
I need the space for mounting the intercooler which has the smae size as a 6th gen OEM Honda airconditioner for my turbo setup (which comes from a 6th gen Civic)

I have a friend that tried it, and it is a little taller than an EF rad. You will need to mount it on a bit of an angle to keep it from hitting the hood. Or else your hood won't close...

I talked today with someone who runs stock 95 VTi radiator on 1.9 crvtec + 14psi JRSC so I think it gives sufficient cooling. Only possible problem with mounting the 5th/6th gen radiator into 4th gen is the height..

92-5 rad in his EF, but now DOESNT, he upgraded it, it was an 'inside' joke
so whats with the hostile attitude...???????
DO the 5gen rad swap IT WORKS, and provides enough cooling,
im going with an even smaller rad FYI in my 4gen so that should put u at ease..!!

I tried several times to get that little DoEs AnYoNe KnOw WheRe I CaN GeT SoMe StRObE LiTEZ AnD LiGhT uP WiNdShiElD NoZzLeS?? in their.. but their is just no way to do it without cutting anything.. I highly recommend NOT CUTTING/MODIFING your cross member for this..
I was checking through the junkyards and found that a early 80's accord/civic radiator might do the trick.. I will let everyone know..

I have one in my car. i just put it in. yeah its at a little angle you have to get a longer hose for the resouvoir, because its on the other side in the gsr. and get the radiator cap also its different. So there you go. WAIT YOU WANT A 6TH gen radiator in your car thats just dumb i thought you wanted a gsr one.

"chill man, i never said the mod didnt worked, Jared DID have the 92-5 rad in his EF, but now DOESNT, he upgraded it, it was an 'inside' joke so whats with the hostile attitude...???????"
Sorry bout that mang, no harm intended only thing is id like to hear from someone who has actually done this so i know for sure, rather then shell out for a rad. and later find out i cant use it.
