My heater fuse keeps blowing. It blew the other day and some bluish smoke came from near the glove box. I pulled the fuse, it wasn't blown. Decided not to put it back in until a couple days later, it's still blowing hot, but I'm afraid to use the heater. Any suggestions why the fuse keeps blowing and what i should do?

Which fuse number is blowing, and what size fuse are you putting in there?

Does your heater blower work on all 4 speeds, and are all 4 speeds different? If not, check your heater blower resistor.

The resistor is behind the glovebox, check that.

Check any aftermarket wiring usually wiring problems stem from a bad head unit install or aftermarket alarm.

So I checked, the heater motor is the fuse that keeps blowing, no fuse number. I am putting a 30 fuse in there when it blows. I think the blower only worked on the 3 and 4 speed. Where is the resistor and what am I looking for?

A blown resistor shouldn't trip a fuse, but its common for your lower fan speed circuits on the resistor to blow first. It's behind the glovebox, remove your glovebox and you cant miss it.
